Our Team

George E. Roden, CPA

Education

Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting, Virginia Commonwealth University

B.A., Randolph-Macon College

Admitted to the Virginia State Board of Accountancy on April 22, 1986.

Experience

George worked for seven years for a financial institution as a branch manager and loan officer before returning to school to pursue his Accounting Degree. After passing the CPA Exam in his first setting, he worked as a staff accountant for a CPA firm for over two years before starting his own practice which provided tax preparation, consulting, computer services, and compilations of financial statements. George became controller for a not-for-profit organization with revenues in excess of $5,600,000. He then became managing account executive with a local Public Accounting Firm where he continued to practice in tax, financial reporting, business advisory, and computerization services. In 1993, George formed his own firm and has been providing financial, tax, business advisory and computerization services to a broad range of small to medium sized businesses, business owners and individuals.
